Scott Davies
April 2007
email: scottandluce@btinternet.com
My name is Scott Davies and I used to live in Galbraith Drive from 1967-1988, oh my God that
is YEARS ago!!!!!!
I started my education at Milngavie Primary School (1967-73) and did the usual move up to
Douglas Academy in 1973.
In 1988, having studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama studying Opera, I
moved to the 'Big Smoke' London where I have been living ever since, almost 20 years.
I worked in Musical theatres in the West End, London, reaching the giddy heights of playing
the part of the Phantom in 'The Phantom of The Opera' for four very long years! I now tour all
over the world singing and have a great time.
I have been married for just about 10 years to Lucy and we have three fab boys called Jack (6),
Will (4), and Adam (2) and two dogs Holly and Gemma. I live in a place just outside London in
Kent called Chislehurst.
Even though the weather is kinder down here I still miss those frosty nights and mornings in
Milngavie and dream, one day, of returning to my roots which I have terrible pangs of nostalgia
every so often. If anyone remembers me and wants to contact me my email is
scottandLuce@btinternet.com. Great place to grow up in and feel very privileged to have lived
there.
Best wishes to all you Milngavie folk.

Kate (Kathleen), myself, (Wilma) and Sandra went to
Milngavie Primary and Bearsden Academy. Fiona and Peter went to Clober Primary and Douglas Academy.
None of us live in Milngavie now. Does anyone out there remember us? I live in Western Australia with
my husband of 32 years and 2 grown up children. I visit my family in England about every 2 years.
I'm hoping to make the reunion in August 2002.

I lived with my parents in Milngavie from November 1980 - August 1991, I went to Milngavie primary school from 1984-1991, unfortunately my parents split up and my mum
(Jean Sutherland), my sister (Marion Sutherland) and I moved to Glenrothes, Fife. We used to stay in
Dougalston Gardens South and I am looking for some of my old schoolfriends. I can remember some
names, Heather Strang, Lynne Nisbet and Gary Paton. If there is anyone out there that remembers me
or knows how I can contact Heather, Lynne, Gary or anyone else from the years at Milngavie (we will
all be around 22-23 years of age), please contact me. Thank you.

we had some good times and some bad times. If anyone sees her tell her I was asking for her.
Anyway do any of you remember me? If so I would like to hear from you. Doko.

Milngavie Primary 1957-65
Bearsden Academy 1965-70
I now live in Bermuda and have done since 1981. I lived in Clober Road
until 1964 and then moved to Ferguson Avenue, where my parents still
live. My brother Alister and I both played for the Wanderers throughout
the 70's and I still recall those trips to Bauge - what a time we had. I
get back every couple of years and see my old buddies - Jim Nicol, Blair
Thompson, Bobby Pollock, et al. Sadly though "yolky" MacGregor and
Wullie Shearer are no longer with us - I miss you both! I will be home
this August [2001] so if anyone out there remembers me and fancies a few pints
you can contact me at my parents house.
